Introductions are in order!

Thank you for taking the time to visit/join our growing FC. It may sound a little outdated to host a thread with the intention of making our members introduce themselves, but this does serve a purpose. Our Free Company is made up of people from all walks of life and all over the world. Though mostly comprised of EU members, we have a growing number of North American players, such as myself.

I'm not asking for a whole lot of info and there is no real script. Be as super detailed and/or action oriented with it as you please. This is just a chance for you to make contact with your fellow Free Company Members.

I wouldn't ask anything of anyone that I wouldn't be willing to do myself, so here is my introduction.


My name is Katsume Shizuma, an RP-focused Mi'qote with some really unusual quirks to her (but who doesn't these days?). My main job is Scholar because there is always a shortage of healers. I'm by no means the best healer in the world, but I consider myself very dedicated to doing the best job I can. I'm always looking for advice on what I can do better.

Scholar aside, I am also leveling Marauder/Warrior as my next level 50. Even though people tell me that Warriors are inferior to Paladins, I just don't accept that as truth. I've seen what masterful Warriors are capable of doing and I remain in awe of their prowess. If I can be 1/10th the player that some Warriors are, I think I'll be a very good tank.

I am a level 50 Alchemist as my main craft, so please don't hesitate to come poke me for a meld or approach me about making you things you want/need at cost (sometimes, even discounted!). I am also a high level fisher with mid-level Mining and Botony.

At the end of the day, much as Katsume wants to do for those she meets, I just want to help people achieve their goals. Every else that comes with it is a bonus in my book.

Well what can i say, my name is Mattaus and FFXIV isnt by a long shot my 1st MMO rpg ive played, FFXI was my 1st MMO game and i played it for 8 - 9 years and found it hard to say goodbye in the end of it all.

This is where Equillibrium was born and i decided that it would always be a mixture of timezones as most of the people i knew and wanted to join from the start were EU and NA players so i carried this over to FFXIV, all in all the LS had a good run doing all sorts of things.

When FFXIV was made known i said to myself ive gotta at least see if it could live upto FFXI but unfortunately V1.0 couldnt capture what i was expecting it to be and stopped playing and decided i would try again in FFXIV:ARR.

"Mattaus" has pretty much the name i use in every game i play online which i decided to keep this time around so older FF players would know who i was but i have been known as "Sergo" on FFXI after moving servers to Fenrir.

Now for FFXIV i play mainly as "Bard" as i have found it to be one of the only jobs i have had fun playing through as a class when as Archer all the way through to Bard lvl 50, saying that i have lvled 3 other jobs to 50 and they are enjoyable in their own ways but i do mainly play bard.

As for crafting in game you will probably see me either gathering my Logs with bontany or trying to lvl upto 50 my Carpentry which im hoping to find more time to work on soon.

In general you will be seeing me try to help whenever or wherever i can, trying to make the FC a bit more like everyone is being involved in something that the FC is doing whatever your lvl or class.
